THE MISSION of The Young Consumer Program is to transform local communities into powerful learning centers that focus on advancing literacy outside the classroom walls. Literacy includes the language of mathematics, science, the arts, social sciences, health, and exercise.
Parents, business partners, and community volunteers provide the leadership, resources, and commitment necessary in creating a program that fits the local neighborhood needs. The Young Consumer Program is a great example of what is possible.
